The Pursuit of Happyness

Fear not readers, I will not be referring to any mediocre, tug at my gag-reflex, movies based on mildly true events. No, no. That's not what we do here. The pursuit I'm currently embarking on is much less emotional, and much more important. After 10 years of wearing contact lenses day in and day out to avoid leaving my apartment in my geeky spectacles, I have made the decision to grow up and get a new pair that I would be proud to flaunt to the general public. But I need help. There are so many choices, so many shapes, and sizes. A friend of mine turned me on to a great website to start my search and I'm sure I'll be up til 4am surfing. My most shocking revelation of the evening? The idea of a cheeky pair of (slightly) cat-eyed specs...is rapidly growing on me. What do YOU think?? Suggestions are invited people.

With a new year beginning, I've been racking my brain for a "To-Do in 2011" list to check off. The most exciting prospect of this year is the promise of up-coming shoots for the yourKloset.com and some styling endeavors. I plan to use this blog as a cyber mood-board, with all the things that are stimulating my Spidey senses these days. So embrace the new year, grab it by the balls, and enjoy some pretty things.

It's that time of year again..."The most wonderful time of the year", right? Well, I have to say the below zero temperatures and on-and-off snow does not exactly bring out my holiday cheer. Not one to let the cold put me into a 5-month hibernation, I opt for cozy knits and full-length skirts to keep me warm.

 Alright, alright, we get it, Crystal Renn is a buxom babe. And yes, Carine Roitfeld, editor-in-chief of Paris Vogue, is God's gift to fashion editorials. Add Tom Ford to the equation and together they created this crazy (and I mean crazy), but sensational photo editorial. Playing around with plastic surgery and the "cougar" craze in the newest issue of Paris Vogue, this trifecta of perfection gives me the tingles.
